Hello,

in the installation phase of the XI part into a ABAP + Java WebAS there is a error in the startup of the services. In the std_server0.out it says:

Service tc.monitoring.logviewer started. (39 ms).

Service ejb started. (463 ms).

service rfcengine ================= ERROR =================

Service classload started. (529 ms).

service shell ================= ERROR =================

Cannot start service telnet; it has hard reference to service shell which i

s not started.

service basicadmin ================= ERROR =================

Core service basicadmin failed. J2EE Engine cannot be started.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.sap.bc.proj.jstartup.api.JStartupClusterI

nstance

The dispatcher came up without problems.

Any idea on what to look for ?

The program version are:

SLES 9 with new kernel

jcontrol 6.40, 64 bit, UNICODE, 5.02.2005

jlaunch 6.40, 64 bit, UNICODE, 5.02.2005

Kind regards, Hinrich
