Windows Server 2012 (R2) is supported or not?!

Hello,

We´re planning to migrate our SAP system from Windows Server 2008 (database SQL Server 2008 (R2)) to Windows Server 2012 (R2) (database SQL Server 2012 SP1)... but we are with some doubts about it because in PAM (service.sap.com/pam) we see that for SAP ERP EHP6 (our ERP system version) the Windows Server 2012 (R2) is not supported yet, but in SAP note 1732161 (SAP Systems on Windows Server 2012 (R2)) I read that is possible!! I don´t get it!

So... my question is regarding this point, it´s possible to install a SAP system (SAP ERP EHP6) in a MS Windows Server 2012 (R2) or not?

Thank you,

samid raif

Hello ramesh yad,

As you can see above, my main question was answered! ... and one thing that is important about what you said, I didn´t ask about the Windows Server 2012, my questions were regarding the Windows Server 2012 (R2) which is different! But thank you anyway...

Thank you,
