BO4 - error during decoding in aps log

Hi,

User got 30270 error processing dp commands

and had a look in log a

WebIntelligenceProcessingServer1.processDPCommandsEx|localhost:|.doIt|biprod02:5628:114424.458161:1|

ClTUri7gFktaoZfW0T1EX102e4aa|||||||||com.businessobjects.mds.services.parser.decoder.DataFoundationSQLDecoder||

DataFoundationSQLDecoder.decodeExpression: Error during decoding!‑

Any thoughts - was thinking invalid definition of object but would have thought they woudl get oracle error message with this - have seen oracle error messages when been a problem with definition of object in business layer.

Thanks

    If there is any custom LOV in universe some times this error is caused by that...

    Check the Note below

    1942262 - Error "an internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270) (WIS 30270)" when refreshing a Web Intelligence report using objects associated with custom lov in IDT

    When the user gets this error ? At the time of creation of report?

    • Thanks for advice.

      Fine on database and fine most times when run repor.

      If coudl repllicate coudl then strip the query apart and find if some object defbition was cauisng problem but as with many such errors intermittennt.

      Ususally takes about 5 mins - when user reported message was taking about 15 mins.
