Workflow Agent Determination

Hi,

we are using workflow in CRM 4.0.

Whenever a service order is created in the CIC we have a workflow with a fixed list of users in the agent assignment that sends an express mail to each one. I want to change the assignment to use the 'Employee Responsible' from the Service Order so I created an Expression to use &SERVICE_ORDER.OBJECTTYPE.RESPONSIBLEUSER.ID& but the message never gets sent.

I then looked at the data via the testing utility in the Worflow Builder and saw that the data never seems to be populated ('no instance'). Is this normal? How else am I meant to assign the employee responsible to the workflow task?
