Deleating Context Node In Sap CRM

Hi Experts,

I want to delete a custome context node which I have created earlier in view ICCMP_BP_CP/BuPaContactPersonCreate of ICCMP_BP_CP component .

I know how to delete the context node :

1 . We will delete the method from the CTXT class

2 . Delete the attribute.

But when I am deleting the method related to my custom context node I am getting the message :

"You cannot perform this action in modification/enhancement mode"

Please suggest me the solution to delete the custom context node.

Thanks & Regards,

Akhilesh Bhagat.

    Hi Akhilesh,

    Goto Edit-> Modification operations->Switch off assistant.

    After that try deleting those methods.

    Hi,

    I have tried the same , its deleting try to delete in sequence.

    Delete

    _IMPL->SET_MODELS

    _CTXT->CONNECT_NODES

    _CTXT->CREATE_CONTEXT_NODES

    Attribute of the node from XXX_CTXT

    Delete your Context Node Class

    Activate ALL

    • Hi Akhilesh,

      Do not delete the set_model method.

      there will be a code in that method related to your node, delete only that code

      for example :

      view->set_attribute(

      name = 'Search' <-------------------------------- Your node name.

      value = typed_context->Search ).

      Delete this code.

      Regards JP
