how to disable tooltip of a standard role

Dear All,

How to disable tool tip( tool tip means when i move my curser on a role it displays a description) of a standard role,  i need to disable the description of standard role.

same time iam not able to personalize my uwl iview. or tooltip of uwl iview

Hi Veera,

Thank you for your quick response.

I need to hide the tool tip of a standard role, which is marked in red.

when i move my curser to the user administration, it displays the default message as "user administration".

Hi,
Can you refer to the steps given in the help.

Open the role in content admin,

In the property editor, choose category as Navigation.

Find a property "Tooltip for Navigation node". Remove the value in this entry.

I did the same, by default there is no value for the "tooltip for navigation node" for user admin. when i add some text to it, it displays the same text. if i give blank it displays the default value. please refer another option do u have?

Please check if the role that you are modifying is delta link of another role,

Find out all the occurences of this standard role in PCD.

Also try deleting the navigation cache.

Please also let me know in case you resolved this issue.

still facing the same issue, copied the role with delta link. and also deleted the navigation cache.

I didnt get "Find out all the occurences of this standard role in PCD". what does it mean.

please explain in detail to resolve the issue

I need to disable the tool tip for the entire system, ie in iviews,pages,worsets and roles of contant administration,user administration and system administration.
