Hi Maningandan,

I addition to Amit you also need the IDOCXmlToFlatConvertor to convert IDoc XML to IDoc Flat format when you use the receiver SFTP.

Check also William Li'a blog:

Hello,

As stated above, that's certainly possible. Just make sure that while creating ICO (since u have not mentioned ur PI version so i am assuming that u will be using JAVA IDOC adapter, BTW even for ABAP Idoc also i don't see any complication) u define correct Idoc name and for Sftp u can use any dummy structure.

Just give a try and post questions in case of any issues.

Hi,

FTP and SFTP are different .

in the thread title is ftp and content is about sftp.

search for the details in scn.

its possible to do sftp to idoc vice versa.

pi monitoring is best. monitoring is possible.

Hello,

In case u are using JAVA Idoc adapter then i think u can do it provided u are getting data in IDOC XML format or in the format which is compliant enough so that u can use SAP standard module (IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor)

In terms of monitoring, i don't see any complication since u only want to do a by pass scenario so that's OK.

Thanks
