serial number/inventory of many assets in one asset

Hi,

I have some acquisitions asset which includes many assets. For example, can be 100 computer in one invoice.

The user does not want to manage the 100 master data assets, because it increases a lot the number of the assets in the system. . So, the user is going to créate one asset for each one of these purchases (in this case 1 for 100 computer). The problem is that it is neccesary to have the serial number or the inventory of these 100 computer in the asset master data.

Is there any way to have this information in the master data? As I see in the master data it only has the option of one serial number or inventory, and we need 100 numbers.

The acquisition is coming from MM.

Hi Cecilia,

In AS02 give asset number and go to the first screen,

in menu System--->Services for object create a new attachment and attach excel or word file which contains inventory number of 100 computers.

You can find icon for short cut for services for object. Screenshot attached.
