Hi,

My Nirmal is Nirmal Prince I am working as Resource Manager for 3+ years I started My carrier as recruiter then I turned as Resource Manager Who coordinate sales,BDM and Planning SAP training and Project and worked as part of SAP BASIS consultant too.

Now I likely to Switch in to SAP MM WM or SAP BW BI/HANA . My Main objective is too get as consultant in India first then to USA. IN US functional only work out My questions are follow

  • 1) whether I will learn SAP MM WM or Will I go ahead and learn BWBI and then HANA?
  • 2)If I learn MM will I have more scope in India and US?
  • 3)If I learn BWBI then I have to learn BO as well?or BWBI and HANA combination will enough? OR Straight away I will learn HANA or BWBI will enough then later I can learn HANA?
  • 4)I think SAP brought HANA to replace oracle and Mysql in future so will I go ahead with BWBI and HANA?
  • 5)If I learn MM then If I learn BWI there is no use but if i learn BWBI then MM there is some advantage in it.
  • 6)If I learn these 2 I should get into job so Please suggest based upon demands and future because other softwares like sales force are coming up how about features of SAP... if everybody learn SAP then how is market going to be in future?

So Please take your time and suggest your little time will give big future. Thanks in advance

Hi Nirmal,

the very first thing that i would sujjest you, never pics any career to see its future,

because you don't know the future, please choose your career arrording to your interest,

because i have seen many people who have choosen according to current scenario

gets frustated after.

So choose your career wisely according to your interest.

Now it comes to your career options, remember if you have passion to do work,

there are jobs in every field, either it is MM or BI, if you are familiar about programming part, and like

it choose BW/BI, if you hates programming you may opt for MM module.

So depending on your skills set , choose your career option.

If still having any issue, please revert me back, i will clarify your doughts.

BWBI is functional module how it comes coding? Whther BWBI with HANA combination is good or MMWM ? :

1. BW/BI is a techno Functional Module.

2. ABAP coding will come depends on purely business requirement .

3. According to me First learn BW/BI & then BO later on HANA.

4.  In BI we have 3 Stages :  Modelling, Extraction , Reporting.

5.For More information why coding in BI.

Refer this wiki  : http://explore-sapbw.blogspot.in/p/sdn-articles-bi-related-abap.html

Opporutinities are More for BWBI & BOHANA  compared to other , But My suggestion is its better to choose SAP Module based on Your background experience because we can't judge/Decide what will happen tomorrow.

I agree with

It seems you are shouting for your career guidance..

Any way...

As per my experience option 2 in better...

There are a lots of opening for MM module...

You can learn MM module, then the integrated module like as WM/PP...
