SOLAMN ST10 - Work Center Slow

Dear All,

I have upgraded Solman to ST 710.

Is there any missing task to be done to make work center work .

I have activated following services.

Hi All,

When i run system preperation it is not going forward.

First swflash.cab pop is appearing

Screen attached

I have added the roles as mentoned in previous post , one role is not avialable in system to add SAP_SMWORK_LANDSCAPE_MAN

Hi Srinivas,

Can you run your IE in compatibility mode and try again?

Moreover check the note 1582842 if all parameters are set properly.

Hi Dear ,

you can assigned this role for Solman workcenter,

SAP_SMWORK_SYS_ADMIN: providing access to System Administration, and

SAP_SMWORK_SYS_MON: providing access to System Monitoring.

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC - Basic authorization to work on work centers.

SAP_SMWORK_ITEST - Work center for Test Management.

SAP_SMWORK_LANDSCAPE_MAN: providing access to System Landscape Management,

These roles are contained in composite role SAP_SMWORK_ADMINISTRATOR_COM

What is your exact issue.? workcenter is slow or looking for services of workcenter?

Hi,

You are not supposed to activate these services manually. Workcenters are role specific, you need to assign the respective roles then you can access the workcenter

You need to finish the solman_Setup system preparation and basic configuration, Later on assign the roles in your user profile.
