Is there a way to configure automatic date proposal for scheduled lines based on replenishment lead time. Currently it seems as though all the dates are backwards scheduled based on the customers requested delivery date. For example we would like to put in an automatic date based on total replenishment lead time (MRP3).
Our scenario is that for example we have some items with longer lead times than others. We'd like these to get appropriate lead times on the schedule lines. For example: We have a sales order coming out of one plant that contains 4 items. 3 of the 4 are from that plant however the 4th has to be a STO from another plant. Currently, our system automatically puts in the requested delivery date as the schedule line date. Availability check with RLT is not an option for us specifically. This is causing us a lot of issues in order entry and on time delivery based.
If you want to have all line items to go in one delivery, why dont you choose Delivery Group?
