SAP Software Provisioning Manager on SUSE – connection error after system restart.

Hello All,

I try to do system copy (SUSE + ORACLE) using SAP Software Provisioning Manager on the fresh operating system SUSE Linux 11. After SUSE installation, I can start SAP Software Provisioning Manager, and all working well. But If I restart SUSE, and try to run SAP SWPM again I see connection error – could not connect to host localhost on port 21212

Where is the problem? I deleted all files from /tmp folder, checked firewall setting and still not working.

Of course if I install new/fresh copy SUSE and run SAP SWPM again all will be OK, but only one time.

Regards,

T.

have you checked the port is free?

If you want, you can use GUISERVER_DIALOG_PORT=<port_no>

More option ./sapinst -p
