Notification list limitation on work center

Hello SAP Experts,

I open this discussion; because, after several hours on Internet I haven t found the solution for this simple problem :

We would like to limitate the notification lists transactions IW28 and IW29 to the work center linked to a user.

The easiest way would be to have an authorization object on work center that would be checked in the standard transaction. But it seems that no such kind of check is made in those two transactions.

Have you got any idea on how limitate the visibility of a user on the notifications linked to his work center. (Actually, we have a link between work center and SAP user in users parameters)

There are plenty of Enhancement Framework options in IW28/29. It is possible that you could integrate your requirements above into these reports.

Talk to your ABAP Team who should be able to help.

I doubt it will be possible in these Tcodes.

• Instead, you develop a custom report based on a Ztable. This Ztable would contain UserId vs Work Center Information.
• Your report program will be so coded that it would filter the output lines according to the UserId in use (SY-UNAME).
• Means the program would know which is the Work center to be considered for reporting from the ZTable and delete all other rows before displaying.
