Subhash,
Please navigate to the content at http://www.sap.com/pc/tech/cloud/software/hana-cloud-platform-as-a-service/index.html to get an idea about the HANA Cloud Platform and how you could start developing applications leveraging the same.
Thank you.

The HANA platform is a comprehensive platform and is more than just a database and analytic report. As you delve deeper into the details you will be able to better understand how to engage with it and enhance your BASIS skills to become a HANA platform expert as well.
I will also let others with more relevant experience chime in on this matter.
Thank you.
Hi Subhash,
The first step you need to take while developing a cloud skill set (and this being the most important step given the fact, you are a basis administrator) - is to get started with "Virtualization".
I try to explain this to our customers in a simple way by saying:
"Virtualization is the underlying technology" and "Cloud is the delivery model".
Especially for you as basis administrator, it important to understand, how a private/public cloud environment (or a data center) is setup and what's going on behind the scenes. As I said, virtualization technology is the enabler for cloud delivery so focus on picking-up skills on setting-up and managing a virtualized data center and deploying/managing SAP applications in a virtualized data center.
One very good SAP product to get started with is "SAP NetWeaver Landscape Virtualization Management (LVM)" which allows SAP customers to simplify the management & operations of their SAP applications and landscapes running in a physical or a virtualized environment by automating
repetitive and time-consuming landscape operations like system clone/copy/refresh etc.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Adarsh
