Hi everyone,
We are running a Time based reduction with HCM data and would like to know what transactional data is "reduced" or excluded base on the date specified.
So far, it appears that all of the HCM data is transferred.
Note:
1. we are running TDMS 4.0 SP5.
2. The documentation implicitly suggests that the HCM data would take into consideration the data slice date.
"SAP ERP HCM Data: You can additionally choose to migrate SAP ERP HCM data based on the data slice date you specify."
Hello Ajab,
As far as I know if you include HCM tables then by-default all HCM tables are transferred in full but if you wish to reduce them then you can do that via activity "Specify reduction rules for tables". By the way, where you read this documentation ? I can not find this information in documentation for activity "include/exclude HCM tables".
Thanks,
Anita

Hi Anita,

Can you have someone in the HCM side confirm various hire dates and look for some of the first records within HCM?
I could see a batch import migrating from another HR type system into HCM pulling over all employees, but if HCM has been for a few years then you should only have records for employees in that time frame.
