towords

Good Day to All,

I have a problem when printing checks using the towords function.

the dollar amount is one dollar more.

if my total is 88.83

my result prints

eighty-nine dollars & eighty -three cents

This is my formula for the end result

uppercase ({@spell int})+" DOLLARS & "+ uppercase({@part5})& " CENTS"

Formula list

spellInt = towords({@Net Pay Integer},0)

net pay Interger

{usp_CHKPRINT;1.NET}+ tonumber({usp_CHKPRINT;1.INTEREST})

part 1

{usp_CHKPRINT;1.NET} + tonumber({usp_CHKPRINT;1.INTEREST})

part2

right(cstr({@Part1}),2)

part3

tonumber({@Part2})

part4

int({@part3})

part5

towords ({@part4},0)

Someone else did this and now it's on my plate so I don't have many answers other than that interest data type string. That is the reasoning for so many steps.

Any thoughts?

Regards,

David M.
