Could not load file or assembly 'Crystaldecisions.Crystalreports.Engine

Hi All,

I get Crystal Report error in my addon. When I run Crystal Report I get the below error

"Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

I can generate the reports in my machine. We get the error at our customer place. I couldn't trace what the problem is.

Help me out to solve this issue.

1. ChecknCR run time is installed or not

2. while doing the Addon add crystal report DLL  to addon ,so that it may resolve the issue

Hi Pvsb prasad k,

The CR Runtime is installed in my system but there is no dll file in that. Where will i find the dll file??

when i try to print the payslip in a pdf format, i get the following error,

" Failed to load database information.

   Details : The database connector 'crdb_adoplus.dll' could not be loaded.

   The correct version of database client for this database type might not be installed."

Help me solving this error.

Hi Preethi,

Make sure the correct exact version of crystal report runtime is installed on client pc.

Go to C:\Windows\assembly

and check check that

'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304'

is in the list

Download the Crystal Report Runtime 2008.

Then install on your client's PC.

Hi Nagarajan K,

The link you gave was very useful it solved my problem for 32 bit client but for 64 bit it is not working, again i get the same error.

What should i do now??
