Pricing in SAP CRM

I am little confused over pricing in SAP CRM - just want clarify my doubts :

1) Does IPC is required only when web sales related components implemented

2) Or is IPC is compulsory for pricing in SAP CRM whether it may be E Commerce or without this

Finally is - whether IPC is developed to support pricing of Web UI?

Please throw some light.

Hi Rajkumar

The IPC is compulsory for pricing in SAP CRM whether it may be E Commerce or without it. Btw, all parts of the Internet Pricing Configurator (IPC) use now the new server infrastructure with Application Platform (AP) 2005 (e.g. delivered with CRM 5.0) and are called Pricing, Tax and  Configuration Engines.
