Marital Status Change Workflow through ESS

Hi all,

I have a custom web dynpro screen for ess portal. If i change the Marital status in portal it has to go to the HR admin for approval. If approved the marital status has to be changed and updated.

As i am new to this kindly help in developing this workflow.
