In Configuration Quality Notifications\Notification Creation\Notification Type\Define Screen Templates - I have taken a field on QN Type Q5 that was previously Hidden and changed it to Required.  It is not showing on the QN screen.  What else do I need to do?

Hi Beth,

May be for Q5 Notification type this field is still Hidden.

in OQM1 click on influencing, > Notification type >Enter Q5 and check that field is hidden or Required.

Hi Amol,

I did my change with Influencing on OQM3 - Screen Group "subscreens".  When I look at OQM1 Screen Group "General Screens" I do not find my field listed (with influencing and without).  Field is Vendor Batch (VIQMEL-LICHN).  How do I add it?

Thanks,

Beth

Hello Beth,

OQM3 is the right transaction if you are editing vendor batch field.

I think Q5 is customized Notification type you are using and it not configured for Vendor related complaints. So Vendor batch field will not have any effect on Q5 Notification type.

Check: QCC0>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Notification Type>Define Screen Templates>Define Screen Areas and Tabs>Select Q5 and click on Notification Header and Screen Areas> ScrnType Object

If this object is set to 0510 then you will be able to see Vendor Batch in Q5 noti. type.

If you do not wish to change above object then you can add any customized field using Screen Exit QQMA0001.

Google it.

Thank you Amol!

I now see that my screen object is 0500 for Q5.  Is there somewhere where I can see what fields are tied to the different screen objects?

May be not, but you can simply select all ScrnType Objects one by one for Q5 and check how "Reference Object" tab updates.

and again set this object to 0500.
