Maintain hierarchy in SAP BW

Hi All,

I want to maintain hierarchy in SAP BW e.g. Region, Country, City, etc. So how can I do this? Please help...

Hi Anand,

Hier creation possible in BW 3.x and BI 7.3 and not possible to BI 7.0.

if you create the hier use RSA1OLD  use in BI 7.0 then migrate to BW to BI 7.0.

if you are loading flat file maintain the hier function in object level.

How you load data?

from source system or flat files?

you need to maintain hierarchy structure at info object level for City.

Use external characteristics - Region,country and city.
