PowerDesigner 16.5 Search on Repository for Keyword property

Hi team,

We want to search on repository root for keyword property.

For example we want a list of all models that keyword is “ABC”, if we search on workspace root for property KeywordList PowerDesginer retrieve all models that have the specific keyword however if we search on repository it doesn’t retrieve any object.

We are searching using feature “Find Objects” in Advanced tab.

How can we search on repository (PowerDesigner Client and PowerDesigner Portal) for keyword property?

Best regards,

    seems this is not working. Tried several things but got no reply from the "Find Objects" feature.

    In the Repository the keyword is saved as an object in the PMOBJT table but this object seems not to be an searchable one using "Find Objects" feature.

    A bit strange workaround might be to find the objects via an SQL statement against your repository.

    Do seach steps like this

    1. Identify the keyword object with his name which is the keyword in your case ABC

    select OBJT from PMOBJT where NAME = 'ABC' and CLSS = 1055;

    2. Find all related objects to the keyword object id (for instance OBJT=12345)

    select SRCE from PMRLSH where TRGT = 12345 and PRNT = 0;

    3. select the objects using the keyword and find out the code / name (for instance there is only one SRCE=67890)

    Select name, code from PMOBJT where OBJT=67890

    Sorry a bit strange solution but it should do the job.
