Export Solution Proposal Questions

Dear experts,

How can I export the questions that are asked during configuration into an Excel or Word file?

I know that generating the Solution Proposal as PDF also entails that the description of the functionality that is associated to the questions is element of the PDF but the questions themselves are not reported.

I want to achieve those questions in a Word of Excel file so I can use them in workshops.

Not sure about how to achieve this without PDI access.

If you have PDI access, then you can try this. There is a template group which gives you Business Configuration elements.

You will have to use the Document Output operation by giving the group id as "BCT" as shown in the below screenshot.

When you run this screen, you will get what you need.

In Business by Design I do have PDI access but I am not sure if that's also what you mean.

Can you tell me a bit more specifically how to approach this?

1. Create a new action in UI Designer for a Button.
2. Assign the Operation as shown in the screenshot.
3. Assign this custom wc veiw to a KeyUser and call it from runtime using a KeyUser login (Not from your PDI login).

Hi Mirko,

PDI Access in the sense the user with which you will carry your development work in the studio. With this user access the solution which you are referring in this thread. In this solution in the custom BO which you developed should be accessed and on the above of this BO create a screen and there you have to follow the steps for configuring the Business Configuration Templates...as described by Sri..
