Create Government rule -Garnishments in US Payroll

Hi Experts,

I just need some clarity how to Service Charges==>Ctreate government rule.

Questions?

• Suppose If i have one same service Charge for all the company ,We dont differenciate according to any state.in that case how do i configure the service charge rule. can i leave the State filed  as blank ???

• Or else if my company is operating  in 20 different sates i.e Say califonia and Newyork do i need to configure this table for each and every state with he same entries???

Srikanth,

You can configure the first requirement by going to V_T5UGC table and creating a service charge without a state and in turn assigning the same in T5UG6 but this is not standard practice and I have not tried or experienced this kind of scenario.

If you dont configure the first table then in the latter you cannot configure without state, I would opine that you go with the standard by creating state wise even if the service charge doesn't differ and as the laws keep changing in the US scenario I wouldn't dare to do that.

or in Sand Box you try to do the AM scenario end to end and please update me.
