Hi experts,

we are using ITSM of Solman 7.1 SP8 (WebUI).

How can I activate the reporting functionalities in ITSM?

BI should already be activated.

But are there some special steps to do?
Maybe someone can providea  guideline.

Is there also a possibility to create also a kind of a report (word, PDF, ...) which can be provided e.g. to the Managers?

Hi Christian,

Please check my blog below which might help you to generate and exports daily reports etc

Generating Searches/Daily Reports in Solution Manager 7.1 IT Service Management

in the ITSM setup wizard you already have steps for BW content activation(step 2.3 and steps 2.4) which will do the same.

Hello Prakhar,

thx for this.

But this is not what I was looking for.

I look for some kind of reports with graphics and statistics (e.g. incidents this month compared with last month.....).

Do see the development of ITSM.

ok got it

answer for that is you have to configure ITSM Analytics

SAP ITSM Analytics on SAP Solution Manager 7.1 - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager -...

you can configure dashboards etc as per your requirements

this guide sounds great - thanks for this.

Just one question, do you know I have to execute also all steps (especially RFC) when BW is in same client of solution manager?

Hi Chris,

No need to worry if BW is in the same client ..as wizard will take care.

Also, this is the recommended option by SAP.
