Sri,

If you want the columns to appear in the Scorecard page so that you can show them and filter on them then you will need to use the Scorecard Attributes KPI level options that are available in Administration/Set Defaults. If you really want to have both Frequency and Unit of Measure then you will need to replace 1 of either Leading/Lagging or Qualitative/Quantitative and use the 3rd available filter available.

Note that the Text Field options do not appear on the Scorecard page and only appear as extra fields for contextual information on the KPI page. You cannot filter on then and they do not appear as an option for a column on the Scorecard.

I would suggest that using a Text Field is more appropriate for the Unit of Measure. Are you really going to want to filter by Unit of Measure? If it is just for information purposes then as an alternative, consider just adding the unit of measure into the name of the KPI as this will have an immediate impact on understanding rather than the user having to look for the additional information.

Regards

Colin

Most performance management systems offer the ability to record frequency of measure and the unit of measure as standard scorecard columns that can be included in the scorecard or in the reports. Frustratingly SAP products do not offer these options.  Neither do they provide the facility to include reference numbers.

We have inserted a reference number at the start of the long description, this really helps you to locate the measure both on the scorecard but also when adding merasures to a scorecard or creating an associated report, particularly as the ordering approach adopted by SAP can at times defy all logic. We include the unit of measure at the end of the measure description, unless it is obvious from the measure description what the unit of measure is. We include both the unit of measure and the frequency in the full measure description so that when you hover over the measure title on the scorecard both the frequency and unit of measure are displayed in the pop up box.

Not ideal but does provide a reasonable workaround to compensate for the basic lack of functionality within SAP products.

Hi,

You can only add the columns available in the table settings.
