SAP ECC6 upgrade with Ehp version ?

Hello

We studies an ERP 6.0 upgrade to EhP, Bussiness Function Prediction return recommandation to implement function based on EhP 5 and 6 but currently EhP 7 is available.

What are the SAP recommentation or best practice for EhP ugrade to the needed version retreive by BFP or to the latest version availableduring the upgrade Phase ?

    Hello,

    SAP recommends to upgrade systems to latest version available but it also depends upon business need. If as per your requirement and business functions required, it suggests you to go for EHP5/EHP6 then you can go to this release. You can refer to below link for more information.

    The new version of EHP will have all the functions from the previous version of the EHP.

    Whether you want to implement the latest version of EHP is a decision to be made by the business.

    The latest version of EHP will also have some conditions or requirements like upgraded version of OS and DB. If you have a supported version of OS and DB then you can implement EHP6 or EHP7.

    You can always perform an upgrade on a sandbox system and test the functions there before you implement the EHP on the landscape.
