Did you undeploy all previous Nakisa applications before deploying the new ones?

Are you using NW 7.3?

If so, then please read:

1852270 - Starting Nakisa gives error invoking event "contextInitialized()" on listener

Dear Stephen,

Good day to you.

Currently we deploy to new sandbox(refresh installation for Nakisa), i try deploying using jspm but failed.Yes we using NW 7.3 and update the latest patch, appreciate if you can advise.Which the best approach to deploy Nakisa using JSPM or SUM.

Step 1 (Successfull done)

Log on to the hosting server as an administrator.

2. Navigate to the /usr/sap/[system_name]/j00/j2ee/configtool directory, then run

configtool.sh (in Linux), or configtool.bat (in Microsoft Windows). The AS Java Config

Tool opens.

3. Click Yes, if prompted.

4. From the main menu, select View, Expert Mode to enter Expert Mode.

5. Expand cluster-data, Template, managers, then select ClassLoaderManager in the left pane. The

Manager properties load in the right pane.

6. Select the ForceResourceClose key in the table.

7. In the Custom Property Data section, enter false as the Custom Value then click Set Custom

Value.

8. From the main menu, select File, Apply Changes.

9. Restart the application server instance.

Step 2 (Succesfully)

Ensure the required .sca file is present in the global EPS inbox directory: /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in

Step 3 Log in to the Java Support Package Manager (JSPM) - (failed)

1. Remote desktop to [server host] server

2. Launch JSPM using go.bat command from C:\usr\sap\NS1\J00\j2ee\JSPM

3. Logon using Admin AS Java user account

* I try launch JSPM go.bat, it show failed. As show message to run using SUM.

Hi Mohamad,

Undeploy and redeploy your app using guiconsole:

1. Goto following path to open up console window:

F:\usr\sap\SID\Instancexx\j2ee\console

Click on guiconsole.bat

2. Type in administrator credentials

3. Copy and paste following command (You will not see command pasted on screen but when you hit enter, you can see it executing.)

undeploy name=OrgChart vendor=Nakisa

4. Now go to NWA and make sure application is removed from the list.

5. Copy and paste following command

deploy <filepath> - deploys the corresponding file

e.g.: deploy c:\OrgChart0702001201SCA.sca

Once application is deployed successfully, you can try to load admin console.

Hope this will resolve your problem.

Thanks,

Hardeep

Mohamad Firhad Samuri.

Looking at the output from JSPM and the SAP Note it references, there's a PDF (attached to the note) that indicates JSPM is no longer supported from Q4 2013.  It suggests using SUM so that would seem the next logical course of action.

Perhaps this thread will give you a good starting point? - How to deploy SCA file using SUM.

Stephen.

Personally I have always used JSPM.

On the go.bat, can you right click and select "Run as Administrator". Any difference in behaviour?

Hi Mohamad,

Please provide me screenshot of these 2 components with version number

“sap.com/SERVERCORE”

“sap.com/J2EE-FRMW”

You can find it in systeminfo page of your netweaver.

screenshot is attached for your reference.

Hi Mohamad,

How did you get 4.1 release of OrgChart? Upto 4.0 SP1 is available on SMP.

If you have got it directly from Nakisa, then I think packaging of this sca file, they provided you, may have some problem in it because I see .war in the warning message.

.war file is for tomcat not for java environment.

My suggestion is to cross check with Nakisa on this, if you have got 4.1 sca file directly from Nakisa.

Please don't forget to provide me version number for above mentioned 2 components.

Thanks,

Hardeep

Dear Hardeep,

Your answer correct, thanks for your assistant.

Now i'm able to load AdminConsole and the step are you giving are correct, after i restart the portal the application can be loading accordingly into the system. Now i'm using Nakisa 4.0 not 4.1, i will check with Nakisa to get the latest version 4.1.

Your application seems to be working fine.

I am guessing the issue is with your url. open your netweaver administration page where Nakisa is deployed put OrgChart/manager.jsp next to the port number/.

I see you have latest release of Nakisa orgchart which is not even on service market place yet.

I am assuming you may have upgraded Nakisa in your environment to latest.

Confirm if you have undeployed old orgchart app before deploying new.

Also confirm if you have it on NW7.3 atleast as Stephan mentioned?

This looks like simple issue. Need some more info to help you on this.

Thanks,

Hardeep
