Hi Experts,
We have a issue with the question's posted by the bidder. When the creator of the RFx document read's the question posted by the bidder from external comapny an email notification is sent to the bidder with the subject
"Read: Question in respect of RFX XXXXXXXXXX".
Can anyone let us know how to deactivate the notification's in case a question is read by the creator which was sent by the bidder.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Praveen
Hello,
just for clarification: you talk about "question posted by the bidder".
This functionality does not exist in standard Bidding Engine.
Are you talking about "Chat" functionality or comments added by the Bidder to his answer at Purchaser's question?
In both cases, i never heard about event for alert dealing with this point... You can check on your own attributes from IF_BBP_EXC_EVENT_C interface.
Maybe a specific event was created. Check your customizing:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Event and Event Schema for Alert Management
Have a look also if any implementation exist for BBP_ALERTING BAdI.
Regards.
Laurent.

Hi Praveen
IAre you able to look at your config for Events. Go to the below SRO path. Then select Object Type: Supplier Quote (BUS2202) and double click Event Definition. You should then get a screen like the below. Check what Events you have set up. See if you can find : "Read: Question in respect of RFX"

HI Laurent
I think it all depends on the answer to what does "the question's posted by the bidder" mean. If it is the questions on the RFx then yes I agree BUS2200 but it kind of sounds like questions coming back from the bidder on the RFx response (quote) so then BUS2202. But as you said this is not standard functionality, so it would need to be done in custom code to allow questions to come back.
Hi Praveen
Could you possibly clarify how these questions are coming in from the bidder?
Thanks
Regards
Wesley
