SAP Factory Calendar

Hi

We transported the factory calendar configuration from DEV to QAS to PRD, without checking any consistency or doing version comparison.

Now we have discrepancies in the production environment.

Can anyone suggest me how to correct this or at least know what was the data before the transport movement.

Regards

Amit

HI

Thanks for your replies.

Yes we did track the changes in CDHDR and CDPOS. I have one doubt.

We have 4 calendars

01: changes lying in development on 27.12.2013

02: changes lying in development on 28.12.2013

03: changes lying in development on 29.12.2013

04: Changes done today

Now when we moved 04 calendar today, i assume factory calendars 01, 02 & 03 also got transported. When i check in production, shouldn't CDPOS show 29.01.2014 as the date for calendars for 01, 02 & 03?

Hi,

You can track the table changes for TFACD which will give the details. You may check the same in AUT10 transaction or CDHDR and CDPOS table.

But, the work days flag are not stored in any tables as of my knowledge. So these flags cant be tracked. You may get the changes for the fields available in the table TFACD only.

TFACD is only for validity change. So we are searching for other tables also like text change, special rules changes etc.

calendars are not transported individually, it is always the entire table with all calendars that get transported.

Because of that fact some consultants tend to create and change calendars in the production system. (wonder why they do not do the same for account determination, because it is as well transported as complete table). If then another consultant uses the standard way, then it will lead to a total loss of all changes that were done only the production system.

Make sure that you lookup the change log in production, and then do the changes to the correct values in development and transport it again.

You can check the changes data for factory calender

Go to SCAL, select Factory Calender - Display

You can see the data changes for factory calender.

And the details of factory calender save in various table TFACD,TFACT

You can also see the changes log for these tables.
