"No data to retrieve in Query 1" in BI 4.1 Launchpad WEBI report

We have a WEBI report developed in BOBJ 4.1 SP2, connecting to ORACLE 11i using Universe built with Universe Design tool. Installed Oracle Client tools on BOBJ server both 64bit and 32 bit.

When I run this report from WEBI rich client, I see the data. No issues at all. Saved the report on Enterprise.

I log into launchpad as Administrator, run the same report in the Launch pad, I dont see any data.

Report runs scuccesfully, but there is no data in the report.

When I open the report, I see "No data to retrieve in Query 1" message

I am logged into launchpad as Administrator with full access. Universe, Connection and Report all have Admin access and full rights.

I am looking at around 100 records. Thats all.Not a big data set either.

Not sure what is going on. Any help appreciated.

Did you tried executing the same report by opening from BO repository thru WebI rich cleint?.

Yes I did. It returns data from Rich client, but does not from Launchpad.

Hi,

It could be that the Webi report is using the older version of the universe from its cache.  Hope this will resolve by clean up the cached universes from <install drive:>\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\hostname_6400\hostname.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer\UniverseCache or "Output Cache Directory" folder.
