Hi Guys,
We have a material which was assigned to a rate routing group as of 08/08/2010 & removed effective 12/26/2010 (using change number). As of current date this material is still active on same routing group and could not figure out why? Any word of advise please.
If you deleted a material assignment using change number it shouldn't delete the material entry in the table MAPL, it will just create another entry with change number in field AENNR, valid from = 12/26/2010 and LOEKZ = X. I suggest you to check the table again.

Looks like they added the material assignment with valid from date as 08/08/10 (without change number) after they deleted it with change number ZR12/26/2012. Check the field MAPL-ZAEHL to verify the sequence of events.
You'd have these kind of problems if change number is optional, you'd need to make change number mandatory.
