HTTP 500 BundleContext BODS1.2 on BI 4.1

Hi all

anyone knows how we can investigate this issue:

After updating the BI Platform from 4.0 SP7 to 4.1 SP2 Patch1 none of the DesignStudio applications are working. We installed the Add-in on the Platform several times now. Moreover, we did a Re-Deploy via console and WDeploy app (including the clear of Chache - delete localhost in work folder of Tomcat7). All other applications are running just fine and also the APS is up and running.

We tried to save applications developed with version 1.1 and 1.2 of DesignStudio, either way this error message comes up when starting it from the Launchpad.

Would be grateful for any hint! Thanks in advance.

Rgds

Sebastian

So actually this error could only be solved by completely re-installing Platform and add in. Now every thing runs smoothly - especially with BODS 1.2 SP1.

Hi - I haven't seen this problem, but I haven't deployed BI4.1 SP2 patch 1 - I am only on BI4.1 SP2

Is it possible to uninstall patch 1 to go back to SP2?

Just to double-check - you did the update / support packages and not the full install?

Otherwise I recommend sending a ticket to SAP Support with the logs.

I'm hearing that exact sentence a lot lately.

Unfortunately uninstalling the Patch1 didn't bring any improvement

I am sorry to hear

It sounds like you need to submit a ticket to SAP Support.

I just saw that BI4.1 SP2 Patch 2 is now available - something to possibly check out for your situation?

I'm hoping that CR Enterprise BICS performance bug is gone in 4.1.2.2 as well as broken Webi Prompts in IE browsers.  I'll report back in this thread just for fun (installing patch 2 as we speak)
