Runtime Error in portal 7.3

Hello All,

We have a NW portal 7.3 which throws a runtime error when we go to Content Administration. The other applications fetching iViews or KM content from this portal also throw Runtime error. When we restart the server everything works fine. It happens once in 1-2 months. We are looking for root cause of the issue.

Hi Muktesh,

Generally, check the defaulttrace.trc and monitor the logs at runtime via nwa. Specifically, look for the error code mentioned in the exception error. You will find the place holder from where the error initiated. If its from a custome code, then your coding standard needs to be worked upon through optimization...

Got the same error once in a while unfortunately. Restarting the server solves it, but on a production server it is not nice
