Issue with passing of date parameters from oracle command to crystal

Hello,

I have created a command and a where clause that says

trunc(r_date) BETWEEN to_date('&fromdate1','MM/DD/YYYY') AND to_date('&fromdate2','MM/DD/YYYY')

When I execute the sql from toad it works well and does not show an error.

I am creating a command in crystal reports using this and it gives me the following error:

"A non numeric character was found when a numeric was expected".

How can I get rid of this error ?

Please help!

    hi Ruma,

what is the complete syntax of your command? the syntax of &fromdate is going to be passed as a direct piece of text. i.e. it will not be a date. if you're trying to use parameters in the command then you need to add them using the create parameter method in the command object itself.
