Travel - transaction TP04

Former Member

Dear experts,

When I execute TP04 transaction I get error message that the infotype 0001 doesnt exist for the given date.

The strange part is that infotype 105/0001 is saved, and if I enter TRIP transaction first, then TP04 can be executed without

the above problem.

When in debug I see that the variable pernr is empty and therefore the error.

Can anyone suggest a solution/what is missing?

Hubert

I am moving this to the Travel Management forum but if you execute the transaction TRIP or PR05..does the same error occur? Also what is your EA_HR version

I presume you do have an IT0001 assigned for the employee also! (IT0000, 0001, 0002, 0017 are all needed as is 105/0001 depending on the scenario)

thanks

Hi,

thank you for reply.

Infotypes 0,1,2,6,9,17, 05 are all there.

Like above - if before transaction TP04 I run TRIP the error is not ocurring anynmore in TP04.

PR05 is working fine though.

There is one more thing - even If I run TP04, then the icons are inactive (screen attached).

System is on EHP5, EA_HR level 91

Hi Hubert,

I guess you have to enter into TP04 via TRIP transaction.

But as both transaction out of time I'm not so sure.

Normally for Backend you should use PR* transactions.

For End User Web Interface WebyDynpro for ABAP (you do not need a portal to run this UI)

Hope that helps,

Sigi

@Sally: I thought there is a note about TRIP transaction?

Good point Siegfried.

And actually even this doesnt answer the question, seems it ends the discussion.

User would enter data via Web Interface not backend.

Thanks.

why? I would use PR* transaction instead of TP* transactions...this is still backend.

What I mean is that even though the issue is still there, hopefuly it will occur only in backend. And of course not all, but probalby most use portal (or at least web based solution) for the end users.

(or at least that is the direction).

Or not?

I thought you get the error only by TP04 (at least on my system that is the same)

TP04 is not working -. TRIP is working - which accessing technically TP04 (which was working on my system. So only TP04 direct access is not working and I guess that is OK...

Ok, so it seems Im not the only one with this error...

Thanks for the information.

And in the end, this is not a big problem (of course untill it ocurrs if you try to enter data from a web based solution)
