How to lock LTP scenarios?

Former Member

Good morning all. Please, I'd appreciate if you can clarify to me how it's possible to lock the access to some Long Term Planning scenario to limit the update of information. I know we have the "status" field to manage the release but this not avoid to use transactions  like MD62, MD74,... to do changes. The requirement is to lock a "Budget" (specific scenario) for any kind of change after this "locking".

Thanks in advance for your help & best regards,

Carlos.

Hi Carlos,

I dont think it is possible. System can not lock the scenarios which are there in MD62 as well can't restrict.

Reason: These are the old requirement. System don't have a reverse check. The program is written like that by SAP.

Hi Krishnendu,

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I know we can "cancel the release" for a scenario, but this not avoid the possibility to change the PIRs created previously for that scenario. Please, do you have any other idea about this?

Thanks again & my best regards,

Carlos.

Hi Carlos,

Go to MS32.

Do cancel release and save it.

This scenario will not be applicable.
