in BW Portal 7.01 => Content-administration => KM-content

there was to every .html document an icon for the contextmenu,

in BW Portal 7.31 => Content-administration => KM-content

this icon for the contextmenu is missing

where is the option to open the contextmenu ???

???? - how to rename such file,  e.g.  from   BW_Status.hmtl    to    BW_Status_old.hmtl

That might be due to missing "Write" persmissions.

Go to Content Administrator -> KM Content -> Toolbox -> Permissions and review permissions for that folder

on all levels of this path there is option "Everyone - full access"

/root/userhome/Startseitencontent/Start/.......

a copy of an html-document could be executed -

but the contentmenu option + icon is still not visible and not reachable

What happens if you use Chrome as a browser?

In the meantime you can select your file and use the file menu. Almost all actions are located as well there.

Hi Christof,

You might have menu disabled in Resource Renderer options as described in this topic

Hide Context Menu in a KM Navigation iView | SCN

it appears the same without contextmenu,  in InternetExplorer-8 or in Firefox-26,

so it is not browser specific.

no,  rename is not within the menu-options.

we only did an upgrade of the BW-systems from 7.01 to 7.31

this link looks helpful, but i did not know, what exatly i should do now,

i will open a Support-Ticket.

========================

o.k.  update from SAP-Support:  that was an error in coding: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1921618

will be fixed in NW-7.31 SP11 or NW-7.40 SP06

or you can manually edit some portal configuration attribute. (see note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1921618 )
