I can't find anything in the other threads that may answer this question. Has anyone experienced any issues when enabling SAP GUI scripting (ie. sapgui/user_scripting*) in the application server? Theoretically, it may post some issues on performance degradation if used incorrectly. But, are there any actual proof or experiencies that this can really happen? This is not specific to performance. It could be related to any scenarios.
Hi
Could you tell us the version of SAPGUI?

Hi Ram,
Just to clarify. SAP GUI Scripting is working perfectly. This means all requirements have been met. My concern is if there will be impacts if in case we leave these requirements (ie. sapgui/user_scripting) enabled permanently. Right now, there are no documented issues but I want to make sure if someone has experienced any issues with using this functionality.
Regards,
Rene
Hi Rene
We don't have any performance or any impact issue using the SAPGUI script. When we execute the script in first time we had issue in the SAPGUI application, that time we applied the latest version SAPGUI patches and then it’s started working fine.
Could you tell us at what stage you are getting the performance issue? Have you applied the latest service pack & hot-fix for Service market place?
Regards
Ram
