Query on ERP-SAP Career

Hello, i am an engineering graduate in mechanical and i have been working in a tier 2 automotive firm which uses ERP for the manufacturing process and other management activities, i was completely employed with ERP i have gained more knowledge about all the aspects of the software.

Recent days i have heard about the SAP software, now i planned to learn SAP please suggest me the following questions.

1. Learning SAP how it will impact on my career?

2. What kind of opportunities i will get after learning SAP?

3. Will it lead my career to peak?

please suggest me the above questions, Thank you.

    Hi Raghav,

    As moderator said- read rules of Engagement. I understand and totally agree with you but this forum is rally a beautiful and knowledge DB and hence few gateway control and validations we need to follow.

    Now to your question-

    You can check with any SAP authorized training institute like Siemens for this. As you have not mentioned which dept / area you work . I can suggest you.

    Career and all depends on ones attitude . If you like to work as a consultant , choose this .

    Pleae ask few questions to your self before give try.

    They will help you.

    1. SAP is now no. 1 ERP package in world. If you learn SAP, it will give very much impact in your career.

    Most of all company (Which is related to ERP package) in world run SAP ERP successfully.

    2. Its depend on your learning modules. There are many modules in SAP ERP package, in learning portion, you have to choose one module as your base module, then you can learn an integrated module also. For module list please check the thread

    3. Yes.. As of my knowledge, Your career will very much grow up after learning SAP ERP.
