solution manager key for ides installation

Hi All,

I am trying to install SAP ECC6.0 and EHP 5 IDES on my system. But it is asking for solution manager key?? Does solution manager key is mandatory for installing an ides version also?? Can anyone help me to sort this problem??

Hello

You need to generate the key from the Solution Manager system to install the IDES system.

This is mandatory for IDES as well.
