Cost analysis of FG item in non valuated project stock scenario.

Hello All,

We are working in non valuated project stock scenario . Material is assigned to the  activity , MRP runs and finally production is created for FG. Now, problem is at production level cost analysis i can see all operations and but only those material which have individual/collective indicator as 2( plant stock). Due to this i am not able have correct cost analysis since individual stock related materials are not appearing in production order. I know  this is a standard sap process for non valuated project stock case . But still if i want to have correct cost analysis how can i achieve this.

Thanks in advance.

In Non-Valuated Project Stock all account assigned PO charges are directly posted to the WBS element and not to the Production Order.  The total costs will have to be analyzed from the WBS and not the production order.

Hi Ken,

I agree with you and i know that this is a standard SAP behavior. Actual cost i can see on wbs element level, but without planned values against them(specifically raw materials which are managed in individual stock and part of a BOM) . And if we think from business angle , how a production incharge  will have comparison of each raw material's plan cost and actual cost at production order level. And since production order will always have incomplete cost therefore product profitability also cannot be determined.

Any suggestions.

If you want to use standard SAP you'll have to switch to Valuated Project Stock.
