Changing Workflow of Request for Change (SMCR) possible?

Hello,

When I Change the workflow of Request of Change ( to add one more status in between New and In Validation ) then after approval from CAB the change document is not getting created.

Is it not possible to change the workflow of Request For change ( Cant we add some more status in between )?

Thanks karthik for ur Reply,

I have tried this procedure before also but when i am removing "In validation " Status from the workflow And directly sending it to "To be approved" then after approval from Change manager. Change Document No. not getting created.

Hi Shashank,

In spro change request management->extended configuration->copy control. define mapping rules.

check whether custom ZMCR or YMCR having same entry like SMCR? if not copy the same and try it

the below entries controls the status  and you can modify ZMCR etc entry as per your req
