Hi Experts,

For one of the sales orders created, our client has tried confirming the stock through backorder processing. (CO06)

In spite of having abundant ATP quantity, we have encountered an error message ' The change leads to an overconfirmation in the amount of XXXXX'.

I request you to help us in understanding when such error can occur and how to resolve the same?

Hi Deo,

Thanks for your helpful answer.

As per the note 572366, if there is chance for over confirmation, this error message checks and prevents the same.

But, in our case, post this message, when we checked the sales order, there was no confirmation whatsoever with ‘zero’ being the confirmed quantity.

So, how can we justify this error message in our context? Kindly help.
