Price takes Previous price in Material Master

Dear Team,

Production order has been created with Semi fished Material. The Material master was set with Price Control V (Moving Average price). Because of huge difference in Price, we have manually changed the price through Transaction code MR21

Once the price has been changed through MR21 it was showing Moving price was 10, Standard price was 10, previous price was 90 and Total stock and total values were zero in Material Master.

Now Goods movements happened with movement type 101 (Goods Receipt) with transaction code CO11N but instead of taking the value of 10 rupees, it is taking previous price 90 rupees in Material price.

Now the Moving price is 90, Standard price is 10, previous price was 90 and Total stock is 1 and total value is 90 is Material Master.

But we want the value to be updated 10 rupees.

Please help regarding this issue.

    Hi Ravi,

Raw material is maintained on Moving average price and SEmi finished and Finished Goods maintained on Standard price. Please fallow what @Ajay Maheshwari - SAP Trainer said.

    Regards,

    Hi Ravi..

I am not MM consultant but what i know is the moving average price gets calculated by (total stock)/ (Total value). So I think you don't need to change the MAP, post directly the GR system will automatically calculate the MAP based on GR quantity & value.

I think MM consultant can better guide you.

    Regards

    Hi Ravi

Its as god as a blunder to have V for in-house manufactured items. Sap strongly recommends to use S

I would advice you to follow the same
