Issue while running VBOF

Hello Team,

I am facing the issue while running the transaction VBOF.  Getting the below message;

Document number xxxxxxx was already assigned.

But i verified the documents and it's not updated. Surprising thing here is while executing VBOF if i activated Test then i can able to view the old and new values on screen. Once i removed and try to execute in real time getting above message.

While checking the agreement getting the message as Agreement is not in current.

Can you guys please help...

Activated structures S060 and S136 to Synchronus updating 1.

Please help.

Hi SK

When you get this error in VBOF it is because you have an external number range on the FI document being used. You can avoid the error by using an FI document type that has an internal number range. (See VOFA & OBA7)

When you run SDBONT06 if changes have to be made the system generates a new FI document

for the new or changed condition. The error happens because the system is assigning the same external number as it did in the original FI posting, You therefore need a new number for the new

FI posting. You can just set the FI document type you want in the VBOF screen.

Thanks for the input. Yes due to external no range it's giving the error. Corrected and tested the same in sandbox. Everything works fine.
