Account assignment category M in purchase requisition

Hello,

       I met an issue, The characteristic & values for configuration materials  can't be modified in ME52N after upgrade to ECC 6.0, it only can be input in creation of  ME51N. Could you tell me why? and how to fix it, thanks.

Have you seen OSS note 588117 - FAQ: Configurable materials in purchasing

it explains some scenarios when a change is not possible and even has link to another OSS note that explains how to restrict changes. And this could give an idea where to check if this was done in your system

Check with the ME52N Screen layout and Choose and change between optional/Display/Mandatory sections.

Hi,

   The field selection based on account assignment cant be based on transaction as of my knowledge.

   If you are able change / insert in ME51N and not able to do the same in ME52N (if screen layout allows change), it could be because of authorization or BASIS issue. You may check the same with your BASIS team!

Hi,

Please check the settings in OME9 for account assignment category M.

May be the specific fields are selected as Display.
