How to get text into the toolbar of (tree) UIBB?

Hi everyone,

I´ve come to a new point where I need advice and hints. I finally managed to create my Tree UIBB (thanks again to the developers who helped me there). I also added a button in the toolbar to call a transaction. Now there is a new requirement I have no solution for yet.

The customer wants text in the toolbar (system date and time). Right next to it is the already created button.

How can I insert text into the toolbar? Right now my workaround would be a deactivated link, but of course this is not nice. Moreover is there a chance in getting the text on the left side and the button (Bestandsübersicht) on the right side of the toolbar?

Any advices or hints would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Dominik

Hi Dominik,

I think simple text inserting in toolbar is not supported on current moment in FPM list/tree. You can try to use input field in toolbar. It will look like on screenshot below.

If this is appropriate solution for you I can describe it in details.

Kind regards, Aliaksandr.

Hi there Aliaksandr,

what a pity it´s not supported. As for your workaround: I would appreciate it very much if you could guide me here.

The requirement is to fill the input field at runtime.

I guess putting the input field on the left and the already existing button on the right side of the toolbar is also not supported, is it?

Best regards,

Dominik

I guess that it is not supported.

My workaround:

  1. feeder class:
    • GET_DEFINITION method

    • GET_DATA method

     2. TREE component configuration

Kind regards, Aliaksandr.
