CO11N characteristic pop up for 101 mvt type

Dear Experts,

Can we assign material class with characteristics for a material which is not having batch management activated.I am not sure of it.If it is yes then can the below issue resolve.

I am using "001 Material Class" for material which is not batch managed. I have created a class and characteristics and assigned it to the material.

During production confirmation using CO11N system is not asking to enter the characteristics value for Goods receipt of material (101 mvt).

Please suggest how to populate the facility to assign the characteristics value to material mvt type 101.

OMCV setting for 101 is "3 Classification always in foreground (all batches)" and for characteristic mark the tick on entry req radio button.

Is there any other configuration required.
