Password reset for DB user "SECACCTMGR"

Hi

While upgrading support packs for BI 7.4 using SUM tool it is asking for "SECACCTMGR" password for creating shadow user, we have not changed that password at the time of Installation and default password is also not working.

Kindly suggest how to change the password or any other option.

Hi Muzammil,

Make sure that there is "brconnect" in SUM/abap/exe .

And then you can use  SYSTEM/Password.

or if it doesn't work reset password

>brconnect -u -c -f crown -o SAP<SID>SHD -p Admin4p#d -RDB

after that it'll prompt

Enter database user name[/password]:   Here i gave SYSTEM user password for the creation of that user.

SYSTEM/********
